Leadership

Mercy Vineyard is led by Mike and Maggie Pearson. After four years being part of Riverside Vineyard in west London Mike and Maggie moved to found and lead a Vineyard Church in Portsmouth for eight years. During this time they helped plant several other Vineyard churches in the south of England. In 2003 the family moved to Mike’s home town of Southampton to begin the second Vineyard Church in the city called Mercy Vineyard. Mike and Maggie have two sons, Ethan (11) and Jonah (9).

As well as leading Mercy Vineyard Mike works part time for Vineyard Churches UK travelling about meeting pastors and leaders around the UK to encourage and talk about growing healthy Churches. Together Mike and Maggie also oversee several other Vineyard Churches and serve as part of the Vineyard UK Council.

Mercy Vineyard Home Group leaders play a key role in helping to lead and care for the Church and there are many other teams to be involved with such as children’s ministry, worship, catering and welcome teams.
