Thank you for visiting our website. mercyvineyard is a thriving community of faith located in Southampton, Hampshire, whose purpose is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.
From the outset we have been determined to do this by creating an accessible, welcoming environment through which you can explore the life, words and work of Jesus. We work hard at eliminating jargon in order to communicate in a relevant and meaningful way. Over 25% of us have not come from a church background at all and many others had previously dropped out of religion for various reasons but want to grow in relationship with Jesus.
The church was started as recently as January 2004 and has grown from about a dozen people meeting in a lounge to a community of over 120 adults and children. As we’ve grown, so have the number of opportunities for exploring faith, building relationships and serving those both in and outside the church. We aim to be a “small” church where you’ll never get lost, yet a “big” church with ambitious desires to see more and more people impacted by Jesus.
