About Us

mercyvineyard was started as a home group with about a dozen people in January 2004. We have been meeting on Sunday mornings since January 2006 and have over 120 adults and children now meeting each week.

Our purpose is to lead people into growing relationship with Jesus.

From the outset we have been determined to create an accessible, welcoming environment for people who do not know Jesus to explore His life, words and work.  We work hard at eliminating jargon in order to communicate in a relevant and meaningful way.  Over 25% of us have not come from a church background at all and many others had previously dropped out of religion for various reasons but want to grow in relationship with Jesus.
